The client wanted to replace the traditional cylinder locks with a digital solution that seamlessly connected to the existing RFID access system. This allowed employees to use their existing access card to open and close their personal locker.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group project-content-blocks is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group project-text-block is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart upgrade without new lockers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The existing steel lockers were technically still in excellent condition. Therefore, replacement of the complete lockers was not necessary. By replacing only the locks a completely modernised locker system could be achieved with a relatively limited investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We selected the Digilock Versa RFID lock. These digital locks are mounted horizontally and communicate directly with the employees&#8217; existing RFID access card. This means that no additional key, badge or separate locker pass is required. This increases ease of use, reduces key management and ensures a safe and future-proof solution.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group project-text-block is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">212 lockers equipped with new RFID locks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In total 212 existing locker doors were fitted with a new Digilock Versa RFID lock. Thanks to careful preparation and efficient installation, the work could be carried out with minimal disruption for daily operations. The employees could use the new locker system immediately after delivery without any adjustments to their existing access card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Our existing lockers were still fine, only the way of closing no longer met current needs. Thanks to the new RFID locks, employees now simply use the same pass for access and their locker. This makes management easier and the use much more pleasant.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group project-text-block is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainable modernisation of existing lockers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More and more organisations choose to modernise existing lockers instead of completely replacing them. When the lockers are in good condition, an upgrade to digital locks offers a sustainable and cost-effective solution. The life of the lockers is considerably extended, while users benefit from all the advantages of modern electronic access control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From design and advice to delivery and installation, LockerSpecialist managed the entire project.
