Description BURG

Mechanical and electronic BURG locks

BURG offers several ways to use lockers without traditional key management. The mechanical sPinLock series uses a user-set combination and is suitable where simplicity, low management costs and independence from a power supply are important. Electronic access options include the Flexo, Flexo Q and Niro series with PIN or RFID. Users open their locker with a code, card, wristband or tag. The appropriate version depends on the user group, required management functions and the material and opening direction of the locker door.

BURG Flexo, RFID and operating modes

The BURG Flexo series is designed for flexible use in wooden and metal lockers. Many versions can be fitted to new lockers or retrofitted into an existing standard cut-out. Depending on the model, you can choose PIN, RFID or cloud management. Assigned use is practical for staff or students with their own locker. Multi-user mode better suits gyms, swimming pools and flexible offices, where users temporarily choose an available locker. Master cards, master codes or service keys ensure managers retain access if a code is forgotten or an access credential is lost.

Advice on BURG locker locks

A BURG lock needs to fit both the door and the daily management process. A mechanical combination lock may be sufficient for a small, fixed group of users. With many different users, RFID can be faster and easier to operate. If you want to manage occupancy and permissions centrally, a connected solution such as Flexo.Cloud or the Conexo locker system is worth considering. LockerSpecialist works with you to assess the locker type, cut-out, opening direction, door material and required emergency opening method. This helps avoid choosing a lock that looks appealing but proves unnecessarily complex or too limited in everyday use.

Frequently asked questions about BURG

BURG supplies mechanical combination locks, electronic PIN locks, RFID locks and connected smart locks. Well-known ranges include sPinLock, Flexo, Flexo Q, Niro and Conexo. The right choice mainly depends on the number of users, preferred access method and need for central management.

Many models can. Various BURG locks are designed for retrofitting and fit a common 16 x 19 mm cut-out. The door, door thickness, opening direction and available space behind the door must still be checked beforehand.

Flexo.Code uses a personal PIN. Flexo.RFID uses a compatible card, tag or wristband. RFID is often faster for large flows of users, while a PIN requires no separate access credential.

Yes, many models support private mode for an assigned user and multi-user mode for temporary use. Settings are not identical across all models, so we match the version to your requirements.

Depending on the model, a manager can open the lock with a master code, master card or service key. Access can then be reset. These management credentials should be stored centrally and securely.

The choice depends on the user group, frequency of use, preferred access method, management requirements and locker type. LockerSpecialist considers these factors and recommends a suitable mechanical, electronic or connected version.
