LoQit is an electronic smart locker system that brings together locks, user access and online locker management. Depending on the configuration, users can access lockers with a smartphone, RFID card, PIN, QR code or biometric identification. Managers control assignments, permissions and availability centrally. The smart locker system is suitable for offices, education, healthcare, sports facilities and equipment issue processes. LockerSpecialist turns your preferred way of working into a suitable locker installation with LoQit.
LoQit is a complete locking system with software, rather than an individual stand-alone lock. Its Locker Management System lets you manage users, permissions and lockers through a browser. Lockers can be permanently assigned to one person or made available dynamically to different users. Time restrictions and automatic release can also prevent lockers from being occupied for too long. Real-time usage information helps managers match the number of lockers to actual demand. This is particularly useful in hybrid offices, education buildings and other settings where occupancy varies.
Users can operate a LoQit locker in several ways. Depending on the project, options include a smartphone, RFID card, PIN, QR code and biometric identification. An organisation can use several methods alongside each other. For example, employees can use their staff cards while visitors receive temporary access with a PIN or QR code. The LoQit app also supports actions such as reserving, claiming, opening and releasing a locker. For paid use, a digital payment function can form part of the configuration.
A smart locker system delivers the most value when it fits existing processes. LoQit can connect to access control, HR, facilities management and other software systems. This allows user details and permissions to be drawn from existing sources wherever possible. The physical setup is configurable too, with options such as a central terminal, readers for each locker bank or controls on individual doors. LockerSpecialist considers user flows, required integrations, power supply, door operation and future management. We use these requirements to design a solution that fits both the technical setup and the organisation.
