Description Metal lockers

Durable and easy to maintain

The base of each locker consists of galvanised steel that provides excellent protection against rust and wear. This keeps the cabinets in excellent condition for years, even in damp or crowded rooms. The smooth steel surface makes the lockers easy to clean and ensures a lasting clean appearance.

Strong construction and stylish finish

The galvanised steel forms a stable construction that is resistant to impact, scratches and daily intensive use. The lockers are available in different colours, dimensions and layouts, from single wardrobe cabinets to multi-door systems. Thanks to the modular structure they can be fully adapted to the space and wishes of the user.

Locking solutions for each application

Metal lockers can be equipped with various locking systems, depending on the application. From classic cylinder locks and padlock hasps to modern electronic and RFID lock systems, both offline and smart online. This combines a sturdy steel base with the latest security and access technology.

The products in the category Metal lockers are rated by our customers at 10.0 out of 10.0 based on 9 reviews.

Pros and cons

According to our locker specialist

Advantages

  • Very strong and durable, steel is robust and resistant to intensive daily use, bumps and wear.
  • Good fire and burglary protection, steel lockers offer extra protection compared to wooden or plastic variants.
  • Hygienic and low maintenance, smooth surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to dirt and bacteria.

Considerations

  • Susceptible to scratches and dents, damage can remain visible during intensive use.
  • Colder, less warm appearance: steel has a more functional and less homely or decorative look than wood or HPL.
  • May rust in damaged coating, although galvanised steel is well protected, it requires careful finishing and maintenance to prevent rust formation.

Yes, metal lockers can be fitted with vents or perforations. This ensures better air circulation, fewer odours and a more hygienic use.

Metal lockers are protected with a durable coating and galvanised base, making them resistant to normal humidity. For really damp or wet rooms we recommend HPL lockers because of their full water resistance.
