Wooden lockers

Wooden lockers combine a stylish look with practical functionality. The base of these cabinets consists of MFC (melamine-faced chipboard). This material has a strong chipboard core that is finished on both sides with a hard, scratch-resistant melamine layer. The result is a smooth, wear-resistant surface that is easy to clean and retains its appearance for years.

Frequently asked questions about wooden lockers

Wooden MFC lockers are suitable for dry to slightly damp spaces. For intensive moisture or wet clothing we recommend HPL or plastic lockers, because long-term water contact can cause damage to MFC.

MFC has a hard, scratch-resistant melamine top layer that is resistant to everyday use. For environments with exceptionally intensive or rough use, HPL is even more impact and wear resistant.

Wooden lockers are standard equipped with ABS edges around the doors and panels. These edges provide protection against bumps and prevent the material from crumbling when used daily.

Yes, MFC doors are sufficiently stable and strong for electronic locks, PIN locks and RFID systems. We use suitable installation materials to reduce the load on the melamine surface.

Yes, MFC is very versatile and can be applied in additional furniture in the same style. This creates a uniform layout in which all elements coordinate well.

MFC lockers have a smooth melamine surface that is easy to clean with a soft cloth and mild cleaning agent. The material does not absorb dirt and remains hygienic in normal daily use.

Yes, thanks to its warm appearance and wide choice of woodgrain finishes and solid colours, MFC lockers fit perfectly in modern office and work environments. They combine functionality with a representative look.

Melamine is reasonably colour-resistant, but prolonged direct UV exposure can cause slight discolouration. In areas with plenty of daylight a UV-resistant colour or strategic placement can be considered.
