Wooden lockers with RFID locks for Chiropractie Aalsmeer
For the new premises of Chiropractie Aalsmeer B.V. we delivered a locker installation for visitors to the practice. The brief called for a functional solution that at the same time matched the warm appearance of the new interior. We opted for melamine wooden lockers in a combination of a Classic Black carcass and doors in Okapi Nut. The layout consists of 15 locker compartments, divided into three columns of five doors. Digilock Versa RFID locks have been used for access. This allows visitors to use the same tag to enter the practice and to open or close their locker.
Wooden lockers suitable for the interior
Not only does the functionality of lockers play a role in the design of a new office space. The lockers are visible to visitors and are therefore part of the interior.
For Chiropractie Aalsmeer, we therefore selected wooden lockers with a melamine finish. The carcass is fitted in Classic Black and the doors in Okapi Nut. This combination gives the locker installation the warm look the customer had in mind for the new location.
The complete setup has a size of 180 x 120 x 49 cm and consists of three columns with five doors each. In total, 15 locker compartments were installed for visitors to the practice.
Digilock Versa RFID locks with one tag
An important starting point in this project was ease of use. Visitors had to be able to use a locker on their own, without needing assistance from practice staff.
The wooden lockers are therefore equipped with Digilock Versa RFID locks. The tag that visitors use to access the practice can also be used to open and close a locker. Therefore, no separate locker key or separate access method is required.
This combination supports the intended visitor journey: visitors can store their personal items independently and operate the lockers with the tag they already use.
HPL plinth as part of locker installation
The wooden lockers are placed on a 10 cm high base of black HPL in Classic Black. The black plinth thus connects to the colour of the carcass and forms the underside of the complete locker installation.
Due to the choice of material and colour, the 15 lockers form a single visual unit. The combination of Classic Black, the wood colour Okapi Nut and the black HPL plinth matches the desired look of the new location.
From consultation to installation
Before production we discussed the situation at Chiropractie Aalsmeer with the customer. We then managed delivery and installation. The lockers were commissioned together with the client.
The result is a compact locker installation that matches the materials, colours and operation of the new chiropractic practice. Visitors have their own locker compartment and can operate it independently with the same RFID tag used for access to the practice.
