HPL Z-lockers for Fleggs in Sint-Niklaas
Fleggs by Hulstaert & Cie NV in Sint-Niklaas produces liquid egg products for a range of applications. The existing steel lockers were not sufficiently resistant to conditions in the production area, so Fleggs required Compact HPL lockers suitable for a damp environment. LockerSpecialist supplied a new installation with 48 HPL compartments for 24 production employees. Z-lockers give every employee two linked doors, finished in Classic White RAL 9016 and Emerald Laguna RAL 5018.
HPL lockers for a damp production environment
The original steel lockers at Fleggs did not provide the required resistance for day-to-day use in the food industry. We therefore selected Compact HPL lockers, also known as solid-core or Trespa lockers. This material is far better suited to moisture and intensive cleaning.
Z-lockers with two compartments per employee
The installation comprises 48 doors for 24 production employees. Each user is assigned two Z-locker doors fitted with keyed-alike cylinder locks, allowing both compartments to be opened with the same key. The complete custom-made installation is manufactured in Compact HPL.
Classic White and Emerald Laguna
The lockers combine Classic White RAL 9016 with Emerald Laguna RAL 5018. A 10 cm plinth raises the installation above the floor, while the sloping top completes a practical design developed specifically for the site.
From site survey to installation
We surveyed the production area before finalising the custom configuration. LockerSpecialist then supplied and installed the HPL lockers, replacing the existing steel installation with a solution designed for the working conditions at Fleggs.
