Efficient renovation of shower and toilet rooms on Ameland
For Holiday Farm De Nachtegaal on Ameland we delivered a complete renovation of the washroom areas within the accommodation. The existing facilities were obsolete and no longer met the required appearance and quality. The brief was to create a modern, warm and sustainable washroom environment that fits the atmosphere of a holiday farm.
Thanks to its unique island location, tight planning played a crucial role in addition to quality and appearance. Thanks to good preparation and efficient implementation, the entire project has been successfully completed within just three days.
Modern washroom interior with warm appearance
A natural and welcoming look was central to this project. All washroom cabins are finished in the decor Lion Wood, which ensures a warm wood-effect finish that is well suited to a recreational environment.
By choosing customisation and consistent material application, a calm, stylish interior was created that is both practical and visually appealing to guests.
Material choice tailored to recreational use and appearance
The washroom renovation uses high-quality Compact HPL panels, also known as solid-core HPL. This material is ideal for washroom areas within recreational environments, where intensive use and moisture play a major role.

Careful installation in unique island location
Working on Ameland requires a different approach than projects on the mainland. Transport, material supply and planning must be coordinated precisely to prevent delays.
To achieve maximum efficiency, the installation team stayed on site during the project and the team stayed overnight on the island. This allowed work to be carried out without interruptions and the overall lead time was limited to just three days.
This approach ensured that disruption at the site remained minimal and the project could be handed over quickly.
From removal to final handover
LockerSpecialist managed the entire process, from dismantling the existing situation to installation and delivery of the new washroom facility. All work was completed by our own installers, ensuring quality and finish throughout the project.
