Renewal of the changing rooms at NRG Premium Terneuzen
For NRG Premium in Terneuzen, LockerSpecialist completed a full refurbishment of the changing areas. The existing lockers no longer met the required appearance and needed replacement. The client sought a modern, durable solution that suits the high-quality look of the gym while at the same time resisting the specific conditions of a combined fitness and swimming facility.
Durable lockers for a humid environment
Because the changing rooms are used intensively and are located next to the pool, we selected lockers made of galvanised steel. After galvanising, the lockers are fitted with a high-quality powder coating in the desired colour. This combination offers excellent protection against moisture and corrosion, ensuring that lockers retain their quality and appearance for years.
The benches were designed for the same demanding environment. The substructure consists of aluminium tubes, combined with HPL Trespa slats. These materials are low maintenance, wear resistant and highly resistant to water, chlorine and intensive daily use.
104 new locker doors installed
A total of 104 new locker doors have been installed. From design and advice to delivery, installation and finishing, LockerSpecialist managed the entire project. The work was carefully planned and completed so that the fitness centre could make full use of the new changing rooms as soon as possible.
In addition, the existing lockers were disassembled and removed in a responsible and sustainable manner during the renovation. Materials have been separated and recycled wherever possible, supporting a more circular approach to the refurbishment.
We wanted to combine a modern look with materials that are resistant to the long-term demands of a sports and swimming facility. With these new lockers and benches, we got exactly that sustainable solution.
